Life Coaching is a process where the ‘coach’ empowers and supports a client by helping them to set goals, achieve goals, and exceed these goals before setting out on their own unique journey, whether this is in their personal life, or professional life, or both.
What does a Life Coach do?
Life coaches help people to ascertain problems, develop goals, discover their clients motivations for change, strategize effective solutions for goal attainment, implement these strategies to achieve success, evaluate progress, and reach the desired destination.
Who Needs a Life Coach?

What is Life Coaching?
Life Coaching is a process where the ‘coach’ empowers and supports a client by helping them to set goals, achieve goals, and exceed these goals before setting out on their own unique journey, whether this is in their personal life, or professional life, or both.
How is Life Coaching different than therapy?
The primary difference between coaching and therapy is that therapy typically deals with past trauma in a person’s life, intending to help the client understand how it’s disrupting their life today. On the other hand, coaching is typically associated with what you desire to change and how to evolve your life.
If your goal is to identify what you can do to get more clarity about a vision for your life, you are probably looking for a life coach. But, if you’re dealing with a trauma that is impeding your ability to function in everyday life, you would probably be better off working with a therapist.
About Me
My name is Eileen and I am so glad that you have chosen to check out my website today. Let me tell you a little bit about myself:
My road to counselling and psychotherapy has been interesting. Having worked in a caring profession, nursing for over 30 years, I was always at my happiest when interacting with my patients & I have always been a people person.
Having experienced a rather challenging period in my personal life a few years ago and realized then that I needed to change my circumstances. I took early retirement from my Nursing Career in 2015. I trained as a professional Life Coach with one the Irish Life Coach Institute This proved to be a life-changing experience for me. I then trained as a Psychotherapist at PCI College in Dublin.
I am very passionate about emotional health and my mission is to make a difference, one person at a time.
